Selection Process

Thank you for your interest in the Central Greene School District. The following procedures are utilized to identify the best possible candidates for available positions.

Becoming a Coach at Central Greene School District

We are grateful for your interest in becoming a coach at Central Greene School District. Please find information below regarding the application in hiring process:

Upon Being Hired: 

There are several requirements set forth by the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association, Pennsylvania Department of Education, and Central Greene School District that applicants need to meet before coaching.  Each of those requirements are listed below:

These requirements must be completed before board approved hiring:

• Coaching Application
• FBI (Act 114) Fingerprint - Must apply through https://uenroll.identogo.com/

• Criminal Record Clearance (Act 34) (https://epatch.pa.gov/home)
• PA Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151) (https://www.compass.state.pa.us/CWIS)
• Arrest/Conviction Report and Certification Form (Act 24 PDE-6004 once hired)
• Act 34, Request for Criminal Record Check
• Act 151, PA Child Abuse History Clearance
• Act 168, Commonwealth of PA Sexual Misconduct-Abuse Disclosure Release
• Act 114 FBI Fingerprint Clearance
• PDE 6004 - Arrest/Conviction Report 

 These must be completed before you can coach:                 

• NFHS - Concussion in Sports                      
• Cardiac Wise PATS Course                           
• NFHS Coaching Principles Course Certification
• NFHS First Aid, Health, and Safety for Coaches
