Dear Parents, 

Welcome to the 2025-2026 School year!

We have important information to share with you about your student's school meals.

ALL students in the Central Greene School District eat Breakfast for free.

ALL students grades K-6 at Waynesburg Central Elementary eat Breakfast and Lunch for free. Snacks and Ala Carte items are available for an extra charge.

Students that attend WCJSHS grades 7-12 will have a lunch charge according to the Free/Reduced lunch application that needs to be filled out if you feel your household is eligible. Student lunch charge statuses will remain the same as it was the last day of the 2025-2025 school year for the first 30 days of the 2025-2026 school year. After October 8, 2025 your student's lunch account status will change if you do not have a current application on file. If you have already been notified of your child receiving free meals through direct certification, you do not need to fill out an application. When filling out an application be sure to include all students in your household regardless of what building they attend.

Applications can be found on the CGSD website under the food service tab, on the COMPASS website at http://www.compass.state.pa.us

Completed applications need to be turned into the guidance/food service office at WCJSHS to Mrs. Fox, you will receive an email or letter in the mail informing you of your student's lunch account status.

Central Greene School District provides a breakfast and lunch program at each of its schools. Menu offerings offer one third to one half of the daily nutrition requirements for a growing child.

Meal Prices

Breakfast is offered at no charge to all students at each school.

Junior/Senior High School: $2.50/lunch

Lunch Accounts

Central Greene School District has partnered with SchoolCafe for accurate online school meal accounts and menus. You can visit www.schoolcafe.com to create and manage your child(rens) account and access daily menus.
