Mrs. Pierce
Science (Chemistry)
W.C.H.S.
Room S105
Hello! My name is Mrs. Pierce and I am a fourth year teacher at W.C.H.S.! I currently teach Integrated Science and Physical Science. I also am the science liaison for our eLearning Academy. Additionally, I am a member of our SAP team. For a more detailed look at my schedule, check out the "My Schedule" link!
A little about me...
I was born in Washington, PA and moved to Greene County in 2nd grade. I graduated Valedictorian of my class in 2004 (from W.C.H.S.) and then attended Waynesburg University (then a college). I majored in Chemistry/Secondary Education. I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2008. Just a few months later, I was hired by the Central Greene School District as a high school science teacher. I also have a pet Basset Hound named Duke. For my students, I am sure you have seen pictures! {Duke}
I am truly looking forward to serving the Central Greene School District and its students. Teaching was my first passion, science is my second. I wholeheartedly believe that all students can be successful and I strive to not only educate students about the wonderful realm of science, but also to assist them in becoming life-long learners!
