WELCOME TO THE NURSES' STATION
Your child's health is very important to us. Please keep the nurse informed of medical changes, phone number and address changes throughout the year.
This site will provide information regarding school health policy and guidelines, related health forms, seasonal items of interest, and links to other helpful sites.
Along with caring for student and faculty illnesses and emergencies, school nurses maintain health screenings, administer doctor prescribed medications, perform nursing procedures, assist physicians with school examinations, provide health counseling and referrals, provide classroom instruction on health related topics, and serve as a parent and classroom consultant in health related matters.
The results of the growth screening (height, weight and BMI percentile for age), vision and hearing screenings will be sent home with all students grades K-12.
Please remember that students may not bring any type of medication to school on their own. All medicine must have a physician's order stating specific instructions for administration. All medicines must be stored and administration by the school nurse.
